Welcome to the Malaysian National RCA Homepage…

Since joining the RCA in 1975 Malaysia has gained a lot by being a member of a lively and active network of regional cooperation. In addition to maintaining close rapport with other NRIs in the Member States, interactions within the framework of this cooperation bring about useful exchange of knowledge, expertise, experience as well as fostering greater understanding of the various cultures and thus enriching the personal experience of many who are involved in the program and activities of the RCA in Malaysia.

The landscape of nuclear science and technology in Malaysia is complete with MINT as the promoting agency (also the contact agency for the IAEA), the AELB (Atomic Energy Licensing Board) as the regulatory agency, many active users across several socio-economic sectors in the private as well as public sectors, and several non-governmental organizations, the major one of which is the Malaysian Nuclear Society. With the strong support by the government for S&T we believe that nuclear science and technology for peaceful applications will continue to progress and grow in the country.

In the RCA, Malaysia has always been an active member and will continue to be so. We are proud to be the host of the RCA Members Only homepage that is now growing to become one of the useful resources for RCA. We are also glad with the enthusiasm of us all in increasing the IT content of the RCA such as through the latest e-meeting initiative.

We will continue to play an active role in the RCA and contribute towards moving it to a greater achievement for our mutual benefit..
