Malaysia has actively participated in RCA program since its
inception in 1975. In Malaysia, the Malaysian Institute for
Nuclear Technology Research under the Ministry of Science,
Technology and the Environment, is the government agency
responsible for developing and promoting the use of nuclear
science and technology for national development, including
coordinating as well as implementing activities under the RCA

established and transferred to local industries.
Malaysia believes that the RCA program will continue to be
useful and important in promoting peaceful applications of
nuclear technology in the fields of industry, agriculture,
